Standards are playing an important role in EV market and other areas, as well as becoming increasingly essential for market entry. Delivered by Mr. Michael Deakin, Type Approval expert of TUV Rheinland, the intention of this workshop was to help participants get clear information and understanding of homologation and testing for EVs and automotive components based on the recent UN ECE- R136 regulations – Electric safety of motorcycles.
Attended by 20 participants, at the workshop Mr. Michael Deakin also demonstrated to the participants practical testing of electric-two wheel vehicle according to the UN ECE - R136 regulations. The delegates expressed positive reviews of the seminar, stating better understanding the basic guidelines of UN ECE – R136 regulations for safety and environmental compliance.
