On 19 March 2015, a practical session was organized by the Road Transport Department(JPJ) by inviting manufacturers to witness the standard procedure and format for vehicle type approval and homologation at their Cyberjaya complex.
Besides the compliance of the UNECE regulations the session also touched on product labeling, conformity of production(COP) and recall matters.
Members of MASAAM were grateful to be invited for insight to the process and also a better understanding on the regulations and requirements, such as certificate submission, etc in order to smoothen the approval process.
