Johannes Loman Becomes the First Indonesian to Lead IMMA

Johannes Loman, the President of Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) is elected as the new President of International Motorcycle Manufacturers Association (IMMA) 2018-2020. Loman has been selected on IMMA annual meeting hosted in Las Vegas, Nevada, Amerika Serikat on May 9th, 2018.

Johannes Loman who currently serves as the Executive Vice President Director PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) is recorded as the first Indonesian who will lead the organization which is already established for 70 years. Previously IMMA is led by the President of BMW Motorrad Stephan Schaller who is also the president of the European Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers (ACEM).

Thank you for the honour and the trust. This is of course a heavy and challenging task. Hopefully I can give positive contribution on advancing automotive industry further not only on domestic area but also in global scale to realize mobility solution which is convenient and enjoyable for society in the future.

IMMA is an association represents two-wheeled manufacture industry on global scale which covers variety of products in every segment. The main job of IMMA is to prepare industry policy including harmonisation of technical regulations, environmental aspect and safety regulation to provide product choices which are more diverse to society.

Before elected as President of IMMA, currently Loman is the President of Federation of Asian Motorcycle Industry (FAMI) 2017-2019. Meanwhile, in Indonesia Loman is entrusted by national motorcycle industry to lead AISI for period of 2017-2020.
